The growing OOH market share for live sports

In our December 2024 issue, we reported on the post-pandemic growth of time and money spent at live sporting events.

Attendance across all major US sports leagues and college events grew by 25% from 2019 to 2024.

Now, research by the Sports & Leisure Research Group indicates that interest in attending live sporting events has continued to grow since last year.

Live sporting events are taking an increasing share of people's time and spending on out-of-home leisure.

In our next month's issue, we'll examine the factors that are contributing to this.
