Downtown Flavortown Pigeon Forge raises the bar for eatertainment

Downtown Flavortown Pigeon Forge (Tennessee), a 43,000-square-foot eatertainment center, opened its doors on March 8th. Face Amusement Group developed the venue in partnership with famed chef and Emmy Award-winning TV personality Guy Fieri.

Downtown Flavortown features a chef-focused 300-seat restaurant, a full-service tropical Tiki bar, a 14-lane duckpin bowling alley, over 10,000 square feet of arcade games, and options for private parties.

The venue's menu showcases Fieri's award-winning dishes, craft beers, and cocktails and will definitely raise the bar for other eatertainment venues. Among the favorites will be Trash Can Nachos served Motley Que BBQ-style in a tin tower stuffed with corn tortilla chips, house-made pork, cheddar cheese, black beans, cilantro, and pico de gallo. Also on the menu will be the award-winning Bacon Mac' N' Cheeseburger, with crispy applewood bacon, six-cheese mac 'n' cheese, onion straws, super melty cheese, and donkey sauce, all stacked on a garlic-buttered brioche bun. Other favorites include chicken wings, sandwiches, burgers, flatbreads, and more. (link to the menu)

The full-service Freaky Tiki bar serves margaritas, such as the worldwide bestsellers, Caliente Margarita, Tattooed Mojito, and Guy's Famous BBQ Bloody Mary with candied bacon, beef jerky, and a veggie skewer, oversized "Bubblin Bowls" - which the menu helpfully suggests should be shared by at least three people, and an extensive selection of liquors, wines, and bottled and craft beers. Downtown Flavortown Pigeon Forge is truly an eatertainment venue where you come for the food and drink and then stay for the fun. It is an excellent example of an out-of-home leisure venue with high Fidelity to counter the trending stay-at-home movement (see article in this issue).
