Editor's corner

It's been a busy time since our last eNewsletter. I've traveled to:

  • Our Ocean5 and Table 47 project in the South Puget Sound (see a few photos in this issue)
  • Our new resort client in Oregon where we are developing a leisure venue that includes bowling, indoor and outdoor social games, a restaurant and an indoor and outdoor aquatic center
  • A new agritainment/agritainment client on Long Island, NY

Next month, I'll be:

  • Presenting at the Lasertron Laser Tag Conference in Rochester, NY on How to survive and prosper in an entertainment environment with too many choices
  • Visiting a new client in Louisiana who has a tradition bowling alley they want to update to a modern social eatertainment concept.
  • Attending the National Restaurant Show in Chicago.

We have some very informative articles in this issue that are must-reads. We live in fast changing times and with it, a fast changing out-of-home leisure culture that impacts both away-from-home entertainment and food and beverage venues of all types. Many articles focus on the changes and trends.

And if you want to keep up on news that you won't find in any industry publications, follow me on Twitter, Linkedin or Google Plus. Here are a few of my recent posts:

I hope you find this issue's articles filled with information beneficial to your existing or planned leisure venue.
