Institute on Creating Sustainable Environments Adds Tours

The Institute on Creating Sustainable Environments for Young Children is scheduled for June 11-12, 2009. We have added a pre-conference tour day June 10, 2009.

This is our third year for the course. Several practitioners in the Kansas City area have attended two years in a row and are willing to share how the change process is taking place in their schools/centers as they move to more sustainable practices. One stop on the tour will be Pembroke Early Childhood, a Reggio inspired school serving over 100 children and their families. The school has a sustainable playground environment, a movement and music center and an art studio.
