Friendship Circle, West Bloomfield, Michigan
Provided consultation and plan review of a recreational building for children with disabilities. A 20,000 square foot building serves as a therapy and activity center along with a Life Village where children with special needs can have fun while practicing important life skills through role play. The site will also be used for school field trips for children with disabilities. Consultation focused on the concept of universal design in all aspects of therapy such as water play, sand play, motor therapy and art therapy. A project visit is planned to collect design information to create an outdoor play garden at this site that will be accessible to all.

Johnson's Corner Discovery Farm, Medford, New Jersey
Completed a schematic layout for a children's discovery farm for children ages infants through age eight at a u-pick-it farm. The project is part of a major expansion and includes a large infant toddler area with an infant sensory enclosure, small sand dig, separate infant tire swings, small berms for running, a mushroom tunnel for toddlers and small toddler climber; a preschool wilderness area with log cabin, pretend camper, pretend BBQ, tents, picnic tables and pretend fishing; a pre-school pretend area that includes a farm house, farm market, farm tractor, gravel boxes, play barn with a milking cow and animal spring riders; a large inter-connected water table of various heights; a dinosaur dig; a boulder climb area; and small track with riding tractors; climbing ropes from Germany for older children and face painting activities.

Herndon Career Center, Child Development Center, Raytown, MO.
Providing consultation to the Raytown school district on the renovation of their child development center.
