In 2005, our CEO, Randy White, attended this study tour in Berlin. He was so impressed with it that we have agreed to place this link on our website. See our article about Randy's tour at

We will try to arrange a meeting with the artist Anne Ochmann, who has made several beautiful "Wasser-Spiel-Kunst" projects together with children in schools.
The stay in Berlin will also give you time and good opportunities to visit other places and focus more on your special interests on the last day of the study trip. More details will be sent you as soon as you mark your interest by giving feedback to this preliminary information.
1st day: Visiting 5 school sites. Guide Georg Coenen, Grün Macht Schule.
2nd day: Schoolyards with special sport equipments, site for handicapped children, interesting park elements.
3rd day: Visits to 1 adventure playground and 3 parks. We shall all go with bicycles and travel through green areas.
Following weekend days: We will suggest some alternative tours, but this will be on your own terms, and stays outside the main program. Free cultural program, or following up special interests with some help in advance.

Entry prize: NOK 2500 (USD 368). - must be paid by registration. The account-number will be given you, when confirming your interest. Total prize: NOK 4600 USD 677). - cover administration, guiding, bus trip and bike hiring in Berlin. Travel (T/R) expenses, hotel and accommodation will come in addition. The participants must themselves organise the travelling T/R Berlin. There are very cheap flight tickets from Scandinavia to Berlin nowadays. We will arrange common bus trips in Berlin with local and very competent German guides. English will be the main language. We will have a good translator with us on all the bus trips and visits around.
It will be necessary with at least 4 overnights at the hotel.
It will also be possible to get a flight back home late on Friday evening, of course, but I do not recommend it, since we will have a social gathering and a common party on Friday evening, and there are a lot to discover in Berlin on Saturday.
We will use Hotel Junckers. We had very good experiences here from our earlier studytrips to Berlin. Hotel Junckers, Grünberger Strasse 2, 10243 Berlin.

Juncker's Hotel Garni is located in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, a popular neighbourhood in downtown Berlin. Hotel prizes follow under here. I expect that most of the participant prefer single rooms.
Optional breakfast costs 6,00 €/day.
