Hot Dog Hall of Fame
Steve Schussler, creator of Rainforest Café and T-Rex, has opened his newest concept, Hot Dog Hall of Fame, at the Mohegan Sun casino complex at Pocono Downs, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The idea behind Hot Dog Hall of Fame is simple: offer a menu of nine great sausages, serve them with dumplings and french fries, and pull it all together with 12 different mustards and other condiments.

According to the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council, Americans eat 7 billion hot dogs between Memorial Day and Labor Day. “Americans just can’t get enough. We love the nostalgic aspect of the hot dog. Hot dogs are right up there with vanilla ice cream, apple pie, mom and dad, and of course, baseball,” said Steven Schussler, founder and chairman of the board of Schussler Creative, Inc.
For wiener lovers (of the pet variety) and artists, Hot Dog Hall of Fame offers an assortment of Paint Your Own Wiener™ kits. The self-contained kits include all the supplies needed to paint your very own wiener dog replica. Schussler plans to roll the concept out at casinos, stadiums and other attractions.
