Time for leisure, the latest data

If you feel like you have less free time than you used to it may not be your imagination. America's leisure time has changed over the last few years. See who is gaining and who is losing this precious commodity.

The most recent data on Americas' 2007 time use shows that college graduates are gaining more leisure time on weekdays, but have less leisure time on weekends and holidays than in 2004. Americans who didn't attend college are seeing the opposite trend—less leisure time on weekdays but more on weekends.

Americans with children 12 years and younger are also losing ground on weekends and holidays, with a decrease in their average daily leisure time between 2004 and 2007. Conversely, Americans without children 12 years and younger have gained leisure time on weekends and holidays.
