Participation in out-of-home activities

From late April through early May 2025, Integrated Insights surveyed 2,570 U.S. adult consumers on their participation in out-of-home leisure and entertainment activities during the previous 12 months. Here are the results.

Notably, only one-third of adults (33%) attended a traditional-type family entertainment center (FEC) or other type of community location-based entertainment center (LBE) during the year, a far lower rate of attendance than 15 other activities. Visiting a gaming center, defined by the survey as an arcade or venue such as Dave & Buster's or Chuck E. Cheese's, was only one percentage point higher at 34%.
