Social media popularity
Younger adults are the top social media users except for Linkedin and
WhatsApp, where ages 30-49 are slightly greater users, and Facebook, where
ages 30-64 are greater users than ages 18-29. Younger adults' top five
platforms in declining popularity are YouTube, Instagram, Facebook,
Snapchat, and TikTok. The popularity of TikTok has grown more over the past
two years than any other platform. Here's a breakdown of the percentage of
younger adults who use each platform.
