Editor's corner

When you receive this issue of our Leisure eNewsletter, I'm attending the Agritourism Convention & Expo in Austin, TX, where I gave a presentation on Sunday and am currently on their farm tours. As you will learn in one of this issue's articles, agritourism is a big industry, much larger than most people understand, and serious competition for other types of location-based entertainment (LBE) and FECs.

Currently, agritourism is around 70% of our company's work, where we work with farmers on all aspects of developing and growing their businesses. In the LBE and FEC industry, we are currently working with a billiards parlor that is relocating and expanding to become a competitive socializing venue with other social games and a developer of a new LBE that will be an indoor competitive socializing venue with outdoor go-karts.
