Our Route 66 project

U.S. Route 66, established on November 11, 1926, was one of the original highways in the U.S. Highway System. Its road signs were erected the following year. The highway, which became one of the most famous roads in the United States, originally ran from Chicago, Illinois through Missouri, Kansas (en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Kansas) , Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona (en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Arizona) before ending in Santa Monica in Los Angeles County, California, covering a total of 2,448 miles. It was officially removed from the U.S. Highway System in 1985. Parts of it are now designated a National Scenic Byway (en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ National_Scenic_Byway) by the name “Historic Route 66.”

American pop-culture artists publicized US 66 and the experience of traveling it through song and television including Bobby Troup’s "(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66 (en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Route_66_(song)) " song and the TV series (en.wikipedia.org/ wiki/ Route_66_(TV_series)) in the 1960s the highway lent its name to. Route 66 became very recognized in popular culture and currently has lots of nostalgic and retro appeal.

Our company is excited to be working on feasibility and concept development for a Route 66-themed project that will be located on Historic Route 66 in a popular tourist area. The current direction is for it to include an outdoor edgy Route 66 themed miniature golf course combined with a Route 66 themed building that will house a cocktail bar, fast casual food and a variety of different social games, along with a bed and breakfast.
