Agritainment Today e-newsletter coming
Our design and consulting work with agritainment and agri-tourism facilities
has been growing. The terms agritainment and agri-tourism
are used to denote farm-based entertainment attractions such as adventure
corn mazes, Halloween attractions, children's discovery farms and
farm-based direct marketing operations, such as farmer's markets
and pick-your-own. There is already a national organization representing
agritainment called the North American Farmers' Direct Marketing
Association (NAFDMA) that has an annual conference.

The first issue of our newest enewsletter will be published in late May.
Although many agritainment facilities have the same problems and issues
as other forms of location-based entertainment, they also have unique
issues. So we have decided to launch a new free quarterly enewsletter
publication to address agritainment's unique challenges: Agritainment
Today. The first issue will be sent out by e-mail in May. Click
here if you would like to subscribe (if you are a subscriber to this
Leisure eNewsletter, to subscribe to Agritainment Today, go to
the bottom of the linked page and change your subscription preferences).
