Putt-Putt Celebrates its 50th Anniversary
Putt-Putt
is now a half-century old. With 100 locations in 26 states, Putt-Putt
is the oldest and largest family entertainment franchise in the country. However,
the new franchised Putt-Putt Fun Centers™ are a far cry from
the original stand-alone miniature golf courses. Today's Putt-Putt
Fun Centers™ include, in addition to miniature golf, go-karts, laser
tag, kiddie rides, batting cages, rock climbing, game rooms, party rooms,
make-your-own stuffed animals and much more.
Thinking about purchasing a Putt-Putt franchise? The company lists
the following qualifications for franchisees:
- Net worth of a minimum of $3.5 million
- Liquidity of at least $1 million
- Minimum of 5 years management or ownership experience
- Experience in managing a retail operation
