Great Design Resource Available from Colleagues in New Zealand

Toni and Robin Christie, a wife and husband partnership, have established Child Space Early Learning Centres and the Childspace Early Childhood Institute in New Zealand.  They authored the popular design sourcebook, Childspaces, which is available on their web-site at http://www.childspace.co.nz/.

White Hutchinson met with Toni and Robin at the World Forum last spring and look forward to seeing them again at the World Forum on Nature Education in October.  Their design book has creative and inexpensive ways to make the child care environment more aesthetically pleasing, both indoors and outdoors.  It would make a good addition to your bookshelf.
