CURRENT PROJECTS

NAEYC ACCREDITATION CONSULTING

White Hutchinson Leisure & Learning Group has been retained by the Heart of America Family Services in Kansas City, Kansas to provide consultation for their accreditation project. Consultation services have centered on a safe and developmentally appropriate outdoor space. Services have been delivered directly to the centers who have received funding from the agency for upgrading their programs and applying for NAEYC accreditation.

DROP-IN CHILD CARE CENTER, SILVERLAKE RECREATION CENTER

We just completed renovation designs and are ordering equipment for this drop-in child care area in a fitness, recreation and indoor aquatic facility. The play area includes a separate infant/toddler play space, computer stations, a pretend house, a miniature area and a book nook.

DROP-IN CHILDCARE CENTER, BETTER BODIES FITNESS

We have completed plans and started ordering equipment for a state-of-the-art drop-in child care center at Better Bodies Fitness Center in Erlander, Kentucky. The area to be called "Better Kids" will include 1,600 square feet of play space and includes a dedicated infant/toddler area, art area, do-it-yourself face painting, miniature play, climbing equipment, block play, a pretend house and market, reading nook, computer stations and a video viewing theatre.

PLAY GARDEN, LA JUNTA, COLORADO

We have begun work on creating a play garden for one of the Head Start sites at Otero Junior College. This is the third play garden we have created for this program.
