Hayride safety
In July, our CEO, Randy White, gave the keynote address on different
agritourism liability risks at the Missouri Agritourism Conference. One
risk was hayrides, the leading cause of injuries and deaths. Although some
farms are already operating sunflower or other festivals with hayrides, the
Fall corn maze and pumpkin patch season is just around the corner. It isn't
too late for farms to change their hayrides and operation for the Fall
festivals to increase their safety.
