Editor's corner

We were very pleased to have recently receive this unsolicited email from one of our Leisure eNewsletter subscribers in Ireland:

“I just wanted to send a quick email to thank you for the exceptionally informative and accurate take you share on the entertainment market.  We are a small family run Indoor play centre in Cork, Ireland, and I have been reading your newsletters with several years and look forward to seeing them in my mailbox. Navigating any business through a recession is difficult but I have use snippets of valuable information from your newsletters over the years and have managed to stay in business. I'm sure there are thousands more out there like me who read your newsletter and consult your website without you knowing the value of the service you are providing.”

An Appreciative Reader

We try to make our eNewsletter informative and interesting reading. It’s always rewarding to learn that its not only read, but also often used by operators of centers. Of course, as a for-profit company, we can only share a sampling of the knowledge we have acquired over our 22-years’ experience in the location-based entertainment center industry for free.

Writing articles is not easy. As most writers will tell you, eloquent prose rarely flows off the keyboard on the first draft (there are some writers who do have that skill). Typical articles in this eNewsletter go through at least three rewrites and two edits, and occasionally typos still slip through. We hope not too many typos slipped through in this issue and that you enjoy reading it.

Also, don’t forget news and information from us is not limited to this Leisure eNewsletter. You can also follow my blog and follow our company’s tweets on Twitter.

I hope you will find our articles in this issue informative.

Everyone at our company wishes you a happy and joyous holiday season.
