Want to Create a More Natural Environment for Young Children?

Now that the photo has your attention, we would like to tell you more about our two-day training, the Institute on Creating Sustainable Environments for Young Children. The event is planned for June 12-13, 2008, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center. This photos, taken in Volkspark Friedrichshain in Berlin, Germany, demonstrate well the notion of the vital connection between children and our environment.

The Institute on Creating Sustainable Environments brings together early childhood professionals and designers to look at indoor and outdoor spaces that are not only high quality, but healthier for children, staff and mother earth. We will discuss green cleaning, toxic toys, naturalized outdoor spaces, choosing green equipment vendors, renovation ideas and green building materials.

You can find out more about the interesting location of the training, read what others say about their past experiences, explore the backgrounds of the panel of presenters and download the registration form at
www.whitehutchinson.com/children/sustainableinstitute.shtml. The deadline for reservations is May 8, 2008.
