I hope your holiday season went well. Here we are already in a new year. Hopefully, it will be a successful one for you.

The new year has gotten off to a busy start for us. In the LBE industry, we are working with an existing billiards center on both market and financial feasibility and concept development for relocation to a larger location and expanding their mix of offerings. In the agritourism industry, we are working with four different farms on growing their business, including designing new or expansion of their festival grounds and activities, including food and beverage concessions, an amphitheater and a demonstration crop area, designing expansion of a farm market to include a bakery and homemade ice cream, and conversion of one farm to regenerative organic. In February, I will be speaking at the Agritourism Convention & Expo in Austin, Texas.

We only have three articles in this issue. That's because one of them is long, really a white paper, as it's an in-depth look at the evolved role of food and beverage for the success of location-based entertainment venues and family entertainment centers in the post-pandemic world.
