Culture has a great influence on all aspects of people's lives, including their leisure. Most times we think of cultural differences occurring between countries or ethnic groups. However, within countries, there can be great cultural differences between cities and regions. For example, in the southern United States iced tea is usually 'sweet tea,' meaning sugar is already added. Move to the Midwest or central east coast, and the ice tea is unsweetened. However, farther up in New England, it becomes sweet tea again.
